About Me
My name is Mike Adams and bionicleg.com is my personal blog. This site is mostly just about random things I’m interested in…websites, games, sports, books, movies…that sort of thing.
I’m formerly the Web Producer for Realtime Worlds, a UK-based game developer. The company’s latest game — APB: All Points Bulletin — didn’t fair so well. So me and bunch of my colleagues recently got the boot. I’m currently in the process of starting my own website design/development company (details coming soon). I’m also hoping my new-found “freedom” will allow me some much-needed time to write (this blog and a few other side projects).
If you’re curious about this site’s name (and the image above), the quick explanation is that I’m a right-leg above-knee amputee. The images above all represent the various super-heroes children have mistaken me for over the years. My favorite is, of course, Robocop. Inspector Gadget is a close second…a kid called me that at an Albertson’s store years and years ago…the mom was mortified. Kinda hilarious!
